Code Black season 3 premiere video: Leanne gives a little tough love
For a little more information on the latter, we come to you bearing the latest sneak peek from this episode (which CarterMatt has for you to check out below). In this, you see Leanne having to dish out a little bit of harsh love for Ariel, making her come to the hospital as an old-fashioned candy striper rather than sit around the house goofing off. She was suspended from school and with that in mind, she’s now having to ensure a little bit of punishment. Having to be ordered around by Jesse may be the sort of punishment that she is forced to endure.
What this does show you more so than anything else is a little bit of the relationship that exists between Ariel and Leanne in the aftermath of everything that happened last season. While it’s pretty clear that Ariel isn’t too fond of her punishment, at the same exact time she knows that being adopted by Leanne is one of the best things that she can possibly hope for. This sets up the dynamic for what is hopefully going to be an interesting, dramatic back-and-forth for them over the course of the season. This show will carry over into the summer and our advice for you is pretty simple: If you really enjoy it, you need to keep watching it! That is the only way to effectively ensure that Code Black sticks around on CBS and gets a season. It’s definitely on the bubble at present and the current timeslot doesn’t inspire a whole lot of confidence.
