Lethal Weapon season 2 finale spoilers: Floriana Lima returns; Riggs in danger

What’s coming up in regards to the upcoming Lethal Weapon season 2 finale on Fox? There are a couple of different things, from the return of Floriana Lima as Miranda to also seeing Riggs dealing with a crisis like no other. His life could be on the line, which could be in part why Lima is returning here. Given that Miranda is not among the living and hasn’t been in quite some time, it makes sense for Riggs to potentially see her as his life is starting to flash before his eyes. This crisis could be a big part of what makes this finale interesting, as will seeing a little bit of change happening within the LAPD that could alter the relationship between Riggs and Murtaugh forever.

The squad is on high alert after an apparent threat is made on Riggs’ life. With Murtaugh taking on more responsibility at work, he and Riggs have to deal with their changing relationship. Meanwhile, Trish gets caught up in some trouble and Molly asks Riggs to make a big decision about their future in the all-new “One Day More” season finale episode of LETHAL WEAPON airing Tuesday, May 8 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX.

This finale marks the second appearance from Lima on Lethal Weapon this year; her presence was a little more common at the start of season 1, when she was alternating playing Miranda with taking on the part of Maggie Sawyer over on Supergirl. She will next be a part of The Punisher season 2.

As for whether or not Lethal Weapon season 2 will end with some sort of dramatic cliffhanger that is something that you do have to think could happen. This is a show that really lives on keeping viewers on the edge of their seat and while there is no season 3 renewal for certain at present, you do have to think that it’s something the producers are eyeing. The ratings are at least comparable to some other shows that Fox has on the air.
