Shadowhunters episode 3 episode 5 sneak peek: Clary’s confession
In the new sneak peek below from this episode, you can see Katherine McNamara’s character finally admit to Luke that Jace did die in the midst of the battle with Valentine at the end of season 2. This is a secret that she has kept from virtually everyone, and it’s one that has devastating consequences. After all, Jace has not been himself ever since what happened with his death, almost as though him being killed once does carry with it some pretty heavy consequences.
What Clary doesn’t realize, at least at the moment, is just how serious some of these consequences are. Jace is actually the Owl and operating under the orders of Lilith. Even if he does not know every little thing that he is doing, he is still an absolute danger both to the Shadowhunter world and also himself. This is an important piece of information that still needs to be deciphered, but it hasn’t completely as of yet.
We do certainly think that Clary is coming to the right person with some of this news, largely because of the fact that Luke is the sort of person who is going to know precisely how she should be able to tackle this issue. It’s probably going to take some thinking and soul-searching, but for the time being it does seem like the toothpaste is out of the tube. How do you force Luke to keep a secret like this for you? It’s hard to imagine that and with this in mind, we do think that there needs to be some forward movement.
