Hawaii Five-0 season 8 episode 20 preview: Catherine Rollins’ big return
The Hawaii Five-0 season 8 episode 20 synopsis that CarterMatt has for you below offers up some more scoop as to what’s coming with this story and more:
“He lokomaika’i ka manu o Kaiona” – Catherine Rollins (Michelle Borth) recruits McGarrett and Jerry to help her track down a uranium deposit thought to be hidden on an abandoned Hawaiian island before a suspected terrorist can make dirty bombs with it. Also, when Junior falls and is trapped in a ravine, he reflects on his estranged relationship with his father, on HAWAII FIVE-0, Friday, April 13 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.
(“He lokomaika’i ka manu o Kaiona” is Hawaiian for “Kind is the Bird of Kaiona”)

When it comes to this Steve – Catherine mission, we do have a number of questions, with many of them stemming back to what happened with Steve and the radiation poisoning at the end of this past season? How much is Steve thinking about this when it comes to a mission involving a uranium deposit? Meanwhile, just how much does Catherine know about what happened to him? This seems like something that should be at the forefront of everyone’s minds given the mission that the team is being led into, but at the same time Steve’s never been the sort to open up about what’s going on with him with many people.
If this wasn’t enough of an interesting story to capture your attention, consider this: We’re also getting a personal story featuring Junior that’s going to offer up a chance to learn more about him as a character, as well. He’s still relatively new to the show, and as a result of that it’s giving the writers a chance to explore all sorts of new avenues for him. Hopefully, this is some meaty material that allows Beulah Koale some opportunities in which to shine.
