MacGyver season 2 episode 20 sneak peek: Jack’s got a pants problem…

MacGyver season 2 episode 20 is going to be airing on CBS soon, and at one point during this episode you’re going to have a chance to see something that is a little bit different from the past. You’ve got a flashback featuring Jack Dalton out in the field (presumably) with Matty, and also one that features some really fun chemistry between the two.

What’s going on here? They seem to be running a mission together in Mexico, but also in the process of that they’re running into a problem at one of the most inconvenient times: They’ve found their target, but unfortunately for Jack, his pants aren’t completely dry as of yet. Suffice it to say, this is awkward — but also funny. Really, really funny! This preview (which CarterMatt has for you below) doesn’t necessarily give you the full scope of the history between Jack and Matty, but it is another reminder that the two have worked together for a rather long time and that even though he may be somewhat bumbling, at the same exact time he’s good at his job. Jack Dalton does get results, even if he often does it in some rather unorthodox ways. The fact that he does things in a way that you don’t quite expect only adds to the fun of the character.

As for how this is going to factor into the remainder of the episode, that’s one of those things that you have to take somewhat of a wait-and-see approach on. Based on some of the information that is currently out there at the core of Friday night’s new episode is going to be Dawn, someone else Jack has shown some chemistry with. We first met this character (played by Amy Smart) earlier this season when the team was in New Orleans. This time around, she’ll surface after the death of her supervisor and the entire Phoenix Foundation team is going to have their hands full trying to figure out precisely how they want to handle that.

Ultimately, if you love MacGyver we certainly think that there is a lot to like about what’s coming; beyond just that, we really hope that you decide to check out the show live given that we are at a point in the season where every single viewer counts. We do feel confident that it will return for another season, but it never hurts to get that extra dose of viewership, so tune in!
