Wynonna Earp season 3 panel coming to ATX Television Festival
The festival itself is going to be taking place from June 7-10; there is no confirmed date for the Wynonna Earp event itself, but we’ll update once there is further information. Syfy passed along some of the following information regarding the panel itself:
“SYFY and IDW Entertainment will present a WYNONNA EARP panel, featuring creator and showrunner Emily Andras and stars Melanie Scrofano, Tim Rozon, and Katherine Barrell. Andras and cast will reveal a first look at the cult hit’s third season, which returns this summer, followed by a discussion of how the series has impacted the genre with its portrayal of leading heroines and championed the importance of fandom and positive LBGTQ representation.”
Given that this is Wynonna Earp, you have to think that this is going to be a lively, fun, and passionate discussion of what makes this show great and different from so many others. Hopefully, this first look will offer up some exciting season 3 teases! Filming is currently going on in the Calgary area; hopefully, by the time early June rolls around there is some more press out there including a first promo.
Meanwhile, be sure to also check out the official Wynonna Earp season 3 logline below — some of this may be familiar information to you, but we do think it’s very much worth a moment to check out:
“In Season 3, reckless and reluctant warrior hero Wynonna and her team of outmatched outsiders return to face monsters, revenants and their biggest fears as they fight to take down the demon who cursed the Earp family before he destroys the Ghost River Triangle – and the world.”

Wynonna Earp has emerged over the past two years as one of the most beloved series on TV thanks to its genre-melding, its humor, and for also combining just the right amount of action and romance. It’s snarky while also still finding room for earnestness. If you haven’t seen the first two seasons yet, you’re missing out and we hope that you get a chance to do so soon! After all, we’re going to be covering the series in-depth once more at CarterMatt this summer with reviews and previews. One of the most-notable bits of casting news we have right now is that Reign alum Megan Follows is going to be making some appearances as Wynonna’s mother, someone we are convinced will be essential to the story for this season (especially based on that cliffhanger).
