911 season 2: Should Lauren Graham appear?

911 season 2 - Lauren Graham

Could Lauren Graham appear on 911 season 2 in some shape or form? Obviously, the demand for such a thing is going to be there. Graham is pretty high on the list of actors that any showrunner would want on their program — and for good reason. She’s fantastic, she’s funny, and she can do almost everything that you could possibly want.

Now, it also turns out that there is another reason for us to be able to see Graham on a possible 911 season 2: She just so happens to be good friends with series regular Peter Krause. If there was ever some sort of way in which we would be able to see him on the show, that sort of natural connection helps. What also helps is that show executive producer Ryan Murphy has had some conversations with her about it.

Speaking to TVLine about a dinner he recently had with both Graham and Krause, Murphy had the following to say:

“[The idea] came up in a funny way. We had a dinner at the Chateau Marmont a couple of weeks ago celebrating the success of the show, and Lauren came with Peter. I’ve always loved her work. And we made a couple of jokes about her coming on as a patient in a very bizarre 9-1-1 call and she laughed about it. She seemed open to the possibility.”

We do think that there is going to be a real need for some more notable names when it comes to 911 season 2. After all, Connie Britton may or may not be back in a major role after her character Abby left in the closing minutes of season 1. She also happens to have another gig that could limit some of her screen time even if she does return.

911 season 2 could premiere as early as the fall, so hopefully there are going to be some more opportunities to get scoop before that point.
