Grey’s Anatomy season 14 video: Alex gets physical; April apologizes
When it comes to Alex Karev, the question is clear: Is his temper coming back? This is something that seemed to be out of his system after nearly losing everything in the aftermath of the altercation with DeLuca. Now, he is willing to put his hands on Koracick for the sake of ensuring that his patient gets the surgery they need. It’s great to be able to fight for your patients; however, there is a pretty clear distinction between fighting for your patient and then getting into an actual physical fight. This could cause problems, especially since we know Jo’s own history and her desire to steer clear of anyone with violent tendencies.
Beyond that,CarterMatt wants to now turn towards April Kepner, who seems to be on the mend after the connection that she formed with the Rabbi on this past episode. (Read our full review of that here.) In this video (which you can check out below) you actually see her apologizing to Jackson for some of her recent behavior and the two embracing. Even if they are not together romantically they’re always going to have a connection and a need for each other. They’re parents together and want the best for one another in just about every single facet of their lives.
Finally, the last story worth pointing out from this trailer relates to Meredith and her own desire to protect one of the interns who is being targeted by ICE. She realizes the difficult position that they are in — if deported, it’s possible they may never be able to practice law again. It’s clearly someone who is just trying their best to be a good doctor and not cause any problems. Yet, trouble seems to have found them regardless. It’s pretty clear to us that this is going to be the most timely and topical story that Grey’s Anatomy is putting on the air over the remainder of this season.
