The Resident episode 10 trailer: Is Nic going to prison?
Throughout the past few episodes, Nic has started to do everything that she can in order to dig into Lane’s improper treatments, coupled with her methods to bring in massive sums of money from insurance companies for care that is not necessarily needed. They’ve gone to war on multiple occasions, but in the aftermath of Lily’s death this war is about to escalate. Lane set Nic up for a wrongful death lawsuit at the end of this past episode and now, there’s a chance that Emily VanCamp’s character could end up losing her job or worse -going to prison for something she did not do. All she wanted to do was actually help Lily and she thought that the chemotherapy prescribed would be a little too rough on her.
Note that the sight of Nic in the orange jumper in the trailer below may not be from The Resident episode 10; the promo feels as though it is being constructed with footage from the remainder of the season and with that, it may take time for the series to make it to this point. Just be afraid that we will see this coming at some point.
The Resident episode 10 synopsis that CarterMatt has for you below offers a few more specifics as to what is happening with this particular hour of TV:
Conrad is hit by a bike and badly sprains his ankle, but works through it when he takes the case of his old medical professor, who is hallucinating visions of her old patients. Devon is tasked with admitting Conrad, who refuses any sort of treatment. Nic tries to navigate her emotions while mourning the loss of a patient and Bell operates on a foreign dignitary with unforeseen complications. Meanwhile, Lane and Bell’s relationship grows closer in the all-new “Haunted” episode of THE RESIDENT airing Monday, April 16 (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX.
First of all, we have extreme sympathy for Devon when it comes to trying to treat Conrad. Meanwhile, who thinks that Lane is getting closer to Bell as a means of intentionally getting an ally in the battle ahead? Even as the Nic story escalates, it does look as though the writers will take their time before unleashing hell on the character and those close to her. It’s almost hospital chess and Lane is making her move by getting attached to another prominent physician.
