Big Brother Canada 6: Live double eviction results!

Big Brother Canada 6 premiere

What happened over the course of tonight’s Big Brother Canada 6? Well, it’s Double Eviction time! There was some strategy, some drama, and also what amounted to basically a lengthy commercial for hair-care products. (At least some of this came in the form of a funny makeover challenge — which was really about making everyone look as terrible as possible.)

The real drama of the Double Eviction in the house really just started with Hamza declaring that Veronica should declare a house meeting — which is always fun. Granted, this house meeting was actually just Veronica shouting at everyone while Derek ate his food and Hamza acted clueless. We don’t think that it really swayed anyone, but we nonetheless saw Paras doing everything she could to campaign for her anyway. She recognizes that she could be a pretty good shield in the game.

Eviction – She gave a pretty good eviction speech but it didn’t matter — Veronica left the game, and the only vote that she had to keep her around was Will. Her in-show interview with Arisa Cox, as usual, was pretty short and sweet.

First Head of Household – This was mostly just a game of questions and answers as some of the players had to remember major events from earlier on in the game. It’s the classic sort of Q&A that you get for Double Eviction HoH and it was Olivia who ended up emerging on top after Ryan missed his final question at the end.

Nominations – Olivia chose to put up Merron and Ryan on the block after talking it over with some of her allies.

Power of Veto – The competition was themed around basically pinball, which was a rather fun idea but also tricky to show on TV using the camera angles that the show utilized. Ryan won the Veto, which ensures his safety for another week.

Veto Ceremony – Ryan chose to use the Veto on himself, which led to Olivia deciding to put Hamza on the block. The moment that happened, the moment it was clear as to what was going to happen.

Eviction -In between the speeches and Hamza’s frustration to go out this way, we have to say that this made us SO much sadder than we imagined that it was going to be. The biggest thing that Hamza seemed to be bitter about was going home without a chance to play in the Veto. Yet, that is the game and that’s what you have to deal with.
