The Walking Dead season 8 episode 13 brings surprises to the Hilltop

What’s set to be coming up on The Walking Dead season 8 episode 13? This is an episode entitled “Do Not Send Us Astray” and at the center of it is something rather simple: Trouble at the Hilltop. This has been brewing for a little while, but this is the episode where everything could start to boil over and cause a wide array of problems for some of the characters involved.

It’s not really in the DNA of The Walking Dead to give TOO much away but the story, but the season 8 episode 13 synopsis below gives you at least a small sense of what could be coming up:

Trouble arises when unexpected visitors arrive at the Hilltop and the community is thrust into action; heartbreaking discoveries are made.

Over the course of this episode there is obviously going to be a turn, and that is a turn that we’re ABSOLUTELY looking forward to seeing. We’re going to be in the home stretch of the series at the time we get to this point and with that in mind, the show does need to make some significant steps forward. Basically, it’s time to bring in the next new dimension of The Walking Dead as this whole All Out War storyline has really gone on long enough. We don’t know just how much more can be done with it and even when it’s over, how the show will introduce something else.

Based on the preview that also aired tonight, it seems as though war will be coming specifically to Maggie’s doorstep, and that much of the episode will be about preparing for it. Is everyone going to be able to tackle what lies ahead? We’re going to find out very soon…
