Blue Bloods season 8 episode 18 spoilers: Peter Hermann, Lorraine Bracco return

How about this for some great news surrounding Blue Bloods season 8 episode 18? Two welcome familiar faces in Peter Hermann and Lorraine Bracco are going to be appearing on the CBS show come April 6. These two actors are following up an appearance from Kelly Dillon on March 30, reminding you that the show is going to be emphasizing some of its familiar guest stars for the final stretch of the season.

“Friendship, Love, and Loyalty” – After a woman voices her outrage regarding the NYPD’s inability to find her son’s murderer, Danny reexamines the case, upsetting the original detective, Erin, and Anthony, who didn’t pursue the case due to lack of evidence. Also, Eddie is shot while on duty; Erin and her ex-husband, Jack (Peter Hermann), face off in court; and Frank contends with an angry police force when Mayor Dutton (Lorraine Bracco) fails to defend them at a press conference, on BLUE BLOODS, Friday, April 6 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

Could Blue Bloods really kill off its second major female cast member this season after Amy Carlson’s exit in the premiere? There is a sad irony to so many of us clamoring to get more Eddie on the show; yet, when it happens, it happens in the worst way possible. Hopefully, she will emerge from this crisis okay and with Jamie supporting her every step of the way. This could be the beginning for many big Jamie / Eddie stories the rest of the season since traumatic experiences often bond people together.

On a superficial level, there is something interesting and different about seeing most of the cast in full uniform in the photo above. It’s something that you don’t see all that often, especially with Henry and Frank.
