Survivor: Ghost Island episode 5 preview: Is unlikely alliance forming?

Moving into Survivor: Ghost Island episode 5 next week, one thing is clear: The three remaining members of the original Malolo on their tribe are in a tough spot at the moment. They don’t have the numbers and beyond that, it doesn’t appear as though there is any way to break into Bradley’s alliance of five. He may be arrogant, but he does seem to have everyone else on the tribe drinking the Kool-Aid at the moment.

Moving forward, we’re not sure the game is going to be that exciting at new Malolo so we almost hope that new Naviti goes to Tribal Council instead. That’s where things look a little more exciting, especially since you’ve got the cold war between Chris and Domenick that hasn’t really come to fruition. Neither have gone to Tribal Council yet at the same time — yet, we almost have a feeling that they may not until we get closer to the merge. Naviti at the moment is stacked, and Malolo just got rid of one of their physical challenge performers. Chris is a beast and there are some other physical men and women on there, as well. Laurel proved herself tonight to be one of the most physical people in the game.

The Survivor: Ghost Island episode 5 preview after tonight’s episode didn’t really give all that much away. Instead, what we saw was the beginnings of a possible showmance on the new Malolo; meanwhile, on the new Naviti it seems like an unlikely bond is forming between Chris and Donathan and that could cause some complications for the plan to get Chris out of the game. If these two have an emotional connection, there are still some ways in which the game could be flipped. We actually think that Dom is a much better player than Chris is, at least in terms of being shifty and working advantages. If the players want to get rid of someone they may struggle to get rid of later, targeting him is the right choice.
