The Blacklist season 5 episode 17 return date: ‘Anna-Gracia Duerte’ story
Unfortunately, you are going to have to wait for a while to see this next new episode entitled “Anna-Gracia Duerte,” as the installment is not set to come on until we get around to Wednesday, April 4 at 8:00 p.m. Eastern time. Meanwhile, the synopsis below offers up a pretty good sense of just what you can anticipate seeing in the story as a whole:
04/04/2018 (08:00PM – 09:00PM) (Wednesday) : When an associate of the Nash Syndicate is murdered, Red (James Spader) sets Liz (Megan Boone) and the Task Force on the case in order to recover evidence crucial to bringing down Ian Garvey (guest star Jonny Coyne). Meanwhile, Aram (Amir Arison) considers a step forward in his relationship with Samar (Mozhan Marno).
We’ve spoken a good bit about the Aram/Samar relationship already but we certainly would like to see what a wedding for the two of them would look like — heck, we actually spoke with Arison about this recently in an interview. He hadn’t quite come up with a vision for it at the time, but who knows? Maybe there will be a chance to see that play out in the future. (Granted, Aram taking a step forward with her doesn’t necessarily serve as a guarantee that the two parties are getting engaged by any means.)
As for the Liz / Reddington story, bringing the two closer to Ian Garvey is really what much of the story has to be all about at the moment. The primary objective moving forward this season for Liz needs to be building towards this epic showdown and getting a chance to see where the field is going to lie closer to the end of the season. We can already envision the series setting up for a pretty epic, devastating cliffhanger that pulls off some twists that we don’t see coming.
