Timeless season 2 episode 4 will take the team to the Salem witch trials
“04/08/2018 (10:00PM – 11:00PM) (Sunday) : While Wyatt (Matt Lanter) sneaks away from the bunker to face an unbelievable truth, Lucy (Abigail Spencer), Rufus (Malcolm Barrett) and their former enemy-turned- teammate, Garcia Flynn (Goran Višnjic), chase the Mothership to the Salem Witch Trials. There they must prevent the execution of a headstrong young woman who, it turns out, is mother to one of the most consequential Americans of all time – the yet to be born Benjamin Franklin. When Lucy is accused of being a witch, the team rallies together not only to save Abiah (guest star Sofia Vassilieva) and Lucy (Abigail Spencer), but all the accused women.”
Following the Season 2 premiere, the team must be headed to the trials in order to dig deeper into Rittenhouse plan of planting agents back in time in order to change history. Of course, the importance of the mission is clear because if Benjamin Franklin’s mother dies, Franklin will never be born. This probably one of Rittenhouse’s most obvious attempts to change history. By this we mean that their usual target is someone not as famous, but this time they are looking to make an impact on one of the most famous Americans of all time. This could alternate so much of our history and so we believe this will be one intense episode.
In addition to preventing Rittenhouse from carrying out their mission, Lucy gets accused of being witch. Did Rittenhouse set her up? It’s certainly possible. If Lucy was mixed in with the trials, it would distract the team from making sure Rittenhouse didn’t succeed. If this is the case, the team will certainly have a lot to do. They will have to rescue Lucy and all the women being accused and, at the same time, trying to stop Rittenhouse. But if anyone can do it, it’s Lucy, Rufus, and Wyatt. However, this time it appears Flynn will be working with the team as Wyatt will be away.
So what unbelievable truth will Wyatt sneak away for? Could it be something about his wife, Jessica? It could be, or it could relate to something we haven’t seen yet. Either way it has to be something big enough for him to sneak away after they have been hold up in a government bunker/safe house to keep them safe. Looks like we will just have to keep tuning in.
