Legends of Tomorrow season 3 episode 15 preview: Who is the Death Witch?

Legends of Tomorrow season 3 episode 15 is entitled “Necromancing the Stone” and based on some of the information that is out there now, the series is not going to take an extreme amount of time before bringing back into frame the story of Mallus being able to possess one Sara Lance. With that, this episode could be causing Sara to transform into someone called, at least according to some of the promotional material for this episode, the “Death Witch.” Judging from the photo above, it seems as though she is going to become the bearer of the Death Totem, which means in turn that it could be up to the remainder of the team in order to stop her.

This is the episode that will be featuring the return of Matt Ryan as Constantine, presumably in order to see if there is a way to stop Sara without also killing her in the process. The synopsis below gives you a little more information as to what’s coming up:

THE POWER WITHIN – When Mallus’ power over Sara (Caity Lotz) resurfaces, she unwittingly becomes the bearer of one of the Totems. Rory (Dominic Purcell) must conquer his dark side in order to wield his own Totem power to help save the crew. Meanwhile, Agent Sharpe (guest star Jes Macallan) notices that something is wrong and recruits someone unorthodox to help. Brandon Routh, Nick Zano, Maise Richardson-Sellers, Keiynan Lonsdale and Nick Zano also star. April Mullen directed the episode written by Grainne Godfree & Morgan Faust (#315).

Everything within this synopsis sounds exciting but there is one question we are still asking after reading this: Hadn’t Rory already conquered his dark side in some shape or form? It absolutely felt that way based on the way that the character has asked most of the season. He hasn’t actually betrayed the Legends in a while, and that’s something that has to be considered to be some sort of record for him. Overall, though, this is a really fun season and we have to think that is going to continue.
