SEAL Team episode 16 return date: ‘Never Get Out of the Boat’

SEAL Team episode 16 is entitled “Never Get Out of the Boat,” and unfortunately, there isn’t all that much that is known about what to expect from it just yet. The mission will continue, and we imagine that, as a result you are going to see a storyline that is about desperation and fear. What if life for these characters will never quite be the same again?

The biggest bummer is that you’re going to have to wait for a little while in order to actually see this story play out. There is no episode next week; instead, the SEAL Team episode 16 return date is currently set for Wednesday, March 21 at 9:00 p.m. Eastern time. So what is the biggest reason for the delay? Much of that may just have to do with the fact that this is a series with only 22 episodes and CBS wants to keep the show on the air until the May sweeps. While the network is going to have more of an eagerness to run out the remainder of Criminal Minds this season — Code Black is going to be following it up — they’re not in such a hurry here.

Beyond just waiting for “Never Get Out of the Boat” to air, the other order of business when it comes to SEAL Team is keeping our fingers crossed for a season 2 renewal. The ratings are for the most part there to make this happen and it also feels like there is a loyal audience out there who will keep watching SEAL Team no matter when a second season airs. The earlier that CBS goes ahead and announces this renewal, the better off it’s going to be.
