Shadowhunters season 3 poster brings everyone together

Shadowhunters season 3 poster

Leading up to its official premiere on Freeform March 20, do you want to check out the latest Shadowhunters season 3 poster? We hope so, given that we have it for you now below!

This new poster is one of the first chances that we have to see the cast for season 3 together (isn’t it nice to see Maia included now), and everyone seems to be for the most part pretty casual. Yet, their style seems to suit the gritty backdrop that is behind them and that is yet another reminder of some of the craziness that is coming their way in the episodes to come. (Bonus points to Katherine McNamara for being brave enough to stand for a photo in the middle of a staircase — we would be incredibly afraid of losing balance and falling on our face.)

These new episodes are going to pick up in the aftermath of everything that happened at the end of season 2 with Valentine — in the latest sneak peek over here you can see Clary being honored for some of her efforts. There may be a victory celebration of sorts, but at the same time it’s also one that is going to be fairly short-lived. There isn’t a whole lot of time in which they can celebrate with the arrival of Lilith into the world. She’s a dastardly character with some rather wicked goals, with one of the prominent ones being doing just about everything within her power to bring back Jonathan. In turn, she could also want the destruction of much of the Shadowhunter world as we know it. She means business, but this poster really isn’t so much about that. Instead, this is more of a way for Freeform to remind you of some of the excitement that is coming up with the likes of Jace, Clary, Magnus, Alec, and some of your other favorites. We’re expecting big things from season 3, so fingers crossed that it finds a way to deliver.

What do you think about the new Shadowhunters season 3 poster and do you have specific expectations for any of the characters? Be sure to share some of your thoughts/hopes right now in the comments!
