Ink Master season 10 episode 8 video: Working with glass
For much of the season so far, Team Anthony Michaels has been fairly dominant — Anthony hasn’t been forced to part with many team members! That’s great, but sooner or later things are inevitably going to crack. That could happen courtesy of Anthony being forced to sit two people out in the Flash Challenge. He chooses Daniel (understandable given his attitude) and then Amanda, who doesn’t seem all that thrilled with the decision. She knows that she’s a good artist and contributor in some of these.
If there does end up being frustration and jealousy within Team Anthony, there could be trouble down the road — to be frank, Anthony better hope that his team wins.

As for the entire basis of this Flash Challenge alone, it’s all about creating dimension using pains of glass. It’s a really idea since some of the designs the artists came up with are nothing short of awesome. Some are still better than others.
While we don’t know for sure which team wins, we will say this — Team Anthony’s design is beautiful. Daniel and Amanda really cannot be too upset since they did a totally good job with this. There’s depth and there is beauty here. Meanwhile, Team Steve’s also incredibly impressive since it is garish, dark, and conveys a very specific, dark message.
What about Team DJ? We actually do think that the other contestants were a little rough on it — it’s nice! The problem is that they drifted somewhat away from the challenge. There was dimension with what they did, but you had to look around from separate angles in order to see it. DJ’s not winning this, which means in turn that Josh Payne is probably going to be in trouble. Team Steve seems to have the edge right now, but Team Anthony’s overall design makes it #1 in our books.
