The Good Doctor finale spoilers: Major Crimes’ Graham Patrick Martin appearing

Graham Patrick Martin

finale airing on ABC this spring just got all the more exciting. After all, Graham Patrick Martin of Major Crimes is officially appearing!

According to a report from TVLine, Graham Patrick Martin — known to many out there as Rusty Beck from the TNT drama series — is set to appear in the final episode of the series as Blake. The character is an intoxicated college student who is going to find himself in enormous legal trouble. He tries to drop off a friend named Caden at the St. Bonaventure hospital and leave before anyone questions him — a move that is often done by many guys around his age who want to shirk responsibility. However, he is stopped before he is able to escape.

So why would he want to escape? That’s going to become pretty clear in a fairly short period of time: It will be discovered that Caden and Blake were both involved in fraternity hazing. Blake encouraged Caden to take ecstasy, which could be one of the reasons why his life is now in jeopardy. If Caden doesn’t make it through whatever procedures are done at the hospital, his entire future could be in jeopardy.

For Graham Patrick Martin, it’s easy to figure out why this role would be appealing. Rusty on Major Crimes was the character you really wanted to root for, especially within the final episodes as he desperately sought closure with the Stroh case and the demons from his past. However, here is going to play the sort of character who is by and large incredibly unlikely. You’re not going to want to root for him; instead, you really just hope that he faces justice for whatever he caused to the poor guy.
