Legends of Tomorrow season 3 finale spoilers: Jonah Hex returning!
Sources confirm that Johnathon Schaech is going to be returning as the character once more on the final episode of the spring, which we’ve seen many social-media posts about suggesting a Western theme. The moment most of that started to trickle in, the easier it became to start to speculate that we were getting an opportunity to see Jonah Hex back in action. We imagine that if the writers created this episode and didn’t bring Hex back, that would cause some sort of mighty uproar.
We will admit that we’re a little surprised that the finale is taking place in Jonah’s era, if for no other reason than that some of the past Jonah Hex episodes have really just been fun interludes during past seasons. There’s nothing altogether connecting the Big Bad Mallus to this time period, at least so far as it has been revealed. Maybe this is mostly just being done as a hint that a big Wild West showdown is taking place here between good and evil. We’ve got a perfectly good feeling at the moment that this will prove to be a rather good time. The season 2 finale certainly had that in its own right courtesy of getting to see all of the different Reverse-Flash incarnations before Black Flash came and more or less sucked his soul away.

What about Constantine?
While it has yet to be 100% confirmed that Matt Ryan is coming back for the finale, signs at present suggest that it will indeed be taking place. The John character has one other appearance set between now and then, as well.
No matter what, we’ll give the Legends of Tomorrow producers a little bit of leeway to tell whatever story that they feel is best at the moment. They’ve earned a little bit of that as of late with the story they’ve presented.
