Legends of Tomorrow season 3: Violett Beane to appear as Jesse Quick
Per a report from Entertainment Weekly, Beane will be bringing her character of Jesse over to Legends of Tomorrow season 3 later this season. This follows up the news that she will be on an upcoming episode of The Flash alongside John Wesley Shipp. Jesse and Wally haven’t really had a chance to talk things out in terms of their relationship in quite some time; hopefully, this will give them an opportunity to do just that while also having a little bit of fun at the same time.
Jesse and Wally could in some ways thrive even more over on Legends of Tomorrow just because this show is so imaginative, funny, and has a spirit similar to the two characters. They also may be able to stand out more given that there is not currently any other established speedster on the series at present.
Lonsdale made his first appearance in the closing seconds of Tuesday night’s new episode, as Rip Hunter ended up paying Wally a visit when he was off in China doing a little bit of soul-searching. He’s always been a wayward soul on this series — he didn’t grow up with either Joe or Iris West, his mother has died, and with the Flash back in Central City he no has the use there as the hero that he once did. Being on board the Waverider may be an opportunity for him to shine; it feels like the Legends themselves absolutely could use someone of his skill set. Who wouldn’t? We’re talking about someone who can solve problems in the blink of an eye. Jesse is the same way and, at this point, she’s probably even more experienced than Wally is when it comes to being a superhero. The two of them together should lead to a lot of super-fun encounters. (We also do wonder how she really feels about her father spending so much of his time on Earth-1 helping a different speedster in Barry.)

Beane is coming on board The Flash and Legends of Tomorrow after a run on Fox’s The Resident. You can see her on that show come Monday night’s new episode.
