When should NCIS: Los Angeles season 9 episode 14 promo come out?
So why not release the promo now to help get fans excited? Typically, this is just not something that CBS does for some of their shows unless they are only a week or so out from airing a new episode. It’s a little bit inexplicable since some other networks do it, and it should be something that they adopt more in the future. (We should note that we do sense some effort being made in this department now with other CBS shows — we did see promos with return dates for some shows before the start of the Olympics.)
In thinking about NCIS: Los Angeles through the lens of a more-traditional promo release model, we will say that we anticipate that the latest season 9 promo is probably going to be released when we get around to Sunday, March 4 — one week before the episode airs. That feels a little bit more like standard operating procedure both for this show and many others that have aired over the time. Within that promo we anticipate a little bit more scoop when it comes to the plan to save Hetty, including if she’s going to be able to survive after her latest incident of biting and just how much urgency there is within Vietnam. It’s an all-hands-on-deck situation and when it comes to the team as a whole, this is probably the most important episode of the entire season. We’re excited to be discussing it a little bit more as we get a little closer. (To date, what’s known is that Nell’s sister is going to be back and a part of the mission stateside.)
