Victoria season 2 episode 7 (PBS finale) preview: Christmastime is here

Are you ready for Victoria season 2 episode 7 on PBS next week? We hope so, given that this episode is arguably the most-important one to date! It’s the final installment of the year, and it also just so happens to be an extended one that will bring you a little bit of Christmas cheer at the end of February. You will get to see what effectively serve as foundations for some holiday traditions that are still celebrated today. To go along with that, there are also going to be a few chances mixed in here to see a little bit of relationship drama and other development based on what we’ve seen so far this season.

Even though we are jumping forward a little bit in time for this episode, rest assured that much of what we’ve had a chance to see so far will still matter; writer Daisy Goodwin won’t forget about tonight’s developments, even if they are a little more in the rear-view mirror.

It’s Christmastime at the palace and Albert is intent on recreating the holiday joy he remembers from his youth.

Is there any reason to worry about the future of Victoria?

We would understand the concern if you were to have any, but there’s really not all that much to be overly concerned about at the moment. The series has already been renewed for a third season, which should air later this year in Britain and then in America in 2019. Presumably, many of your favorites from this season will return.

As for whether or not the finale is going to end on any sort of big, super-dramatic cliffhanger, we would say not to worry all that much about it. After all, we’re talking here about a series that is based on history — it’s not like there’s all that much that can actually be spoiled.
