UnREAL season 3: Constance Zimmer on Quinn’s starting-off point
Luckily, we know that Constance Zimmer’s character of Quinn is up for almost any challenge … but this is still a very different challenge than any that she’s been up against, and she’s also still reeling from some of her own challenges last season. These are issues that Zimmer told Us Weekly about while setting up what Quinn’s story is going to be like:
“In the beginning she’s a little off balance and it was an interesting thing to play, having played her for two seasons, so in control … The end of the second season kind of threw her out of whack, falling in love and not being able to have a kid. We do come into this season a little off and how to stumble and not fall, but stumble and build yourself back up.”
There is a sense of glorious irony with UnREAL in that for most people, being in the world of “Everlasting” is a toxic, damaging environment where their soul is torn completely apart at the seams. Yet, for Quinn there could be some sort of comfort that comes via being in her environment and producing the heck out of this show. She’s amazing at it and she thrives when the pressure is on. It’s not going to erase the fact that she is going to have some other issues she will need to deal with, but there’s a chance she, at least for a time, could consider this a welcome distraction.

As for the lives of Rachel and many of the other members of production, we’re going to go ahead and anticipate things going to hell in a handbasket for many of them.
