When will The Originals season 5 trailer arrive?

Are you eager to get The Originals season 5 trailer? If so, we understand given that we’re right there with you. This is something that we’ve been eager to have for weeks now and for so many different reasons whether it be seeing people on the other side of the time jump, finding out more about this new version of Hope, and of course getting to see Candice King and the possibility of Klaroline breaking through within this final season.

Unfortunately, you are probably going to be waiting for at least a little while longer in order to see this The Originals season 5 trailer online. Responding to a question on Twitter, executive producer Jeffrey Lieber suggested that it could be around mid-to-late March when the trailer first launches. That’s not official confirmation by any means, but it at least gives you a good timeframe. The CW will probably get the trailer out there early enough so that viewers can start to prepare for the premiere airing, but they won’t do it so early so that anyone forgets about it, either. It’s a delicate balancing act finding the right time to release a trailer; there’s a lot of thought that ultimately goes into it.

The Originals season 5 premieres in April, and this trailer will likely contain details from a handful of episodes. Given that this is the final season, though, we have a hard time thinking that it’s going to give too much away. This is probably going to be one of the most secretive seasons to date — think along the lines of the final season of The Vampire Diaries. While we know that there were some elements of that final season that were divisive, we do think that the series finale did a lot right in trying to paint a beautiful picture of hope for some characters — even if it was in the afterlife.
