When should Wynonna Earp season 3 trailer be released?
So what’s the timeline to get us to this point? Before answering that, we have to look at a reference point: The Wynonna Earp season 2 trailer was formally launched all the way back in April of 2017, a little less than two months before the series arrived with new episodes. Production for that season also started a little bit earlier than production on season 3 has. Provided that Wynonna Earp season 3 comes out this summer, we wouldn’t be shocked to see the first trailer released at some point in either late April or early May — it’ll probably be a little later than last year unless Syfy decides to throw us all a bone for being exceptionally patient during what is a long filming hiatus.
As for what sort of footage we’d want to see in there, it almost goes without saying that getting a chance to see Megan Follows as Wynonna’s mother should be fairly high up on the list. Beyond that, we do want to see more of where Wynonna is in her life beyond just with her mother — and also the state of the relationship between Waverly and Nicole.

If Wynonna Earp premieres a little bit later this season, as in the fall, we wouldn’t be shocked if a trailer reveal was saved until Comic-Con as a means to build up some more hype for what’s coming … but all signs point to the show premiering this summer. We don’t want anyone to push the panic button just yet until there’s word otherwise. We just always get antsy while waiting for an official date. Filming will continue for many months to come in the Calgary area, and we’ll post some more news that moment that it starts to trickle in.
