Call the Midwife season 7 episode 4 video: Helen George on Trixie’s troubles

Call the Midwife season 7 episode 4

Are you ready for Call the Midwife season 7 episode 4 to come on the air this weekend? We certainly are, though we admit that we may spend almost every single second of it being worried over the future of Trixie.

While we don’t necessarily think at the moment that her future is dire in the sense of her life beyond on the line, there are some significant struggles that she is being forced to confront. For starters, just take a look at what she is dealing with in regards to her alcoholism. She’s been through so much abandonment and loneliness in her life that she’s retreating away from something (or rather, someone) who could have been good to her in Christopher. She is opening herself up to struggle and we’re absolutely worried about what could be coming her way.

In the new video below courtesy of the BBC, you can see a little bit more in terms of what Helen George has to say about this upcoming story and some of how it could impact Trixie. Also, she details how it could be Nurse Crane who comes to her aid and tries to make sure that she is going to be okay in the wake of everything that is happening. As scary as some of Trixie’s troubles are, the one thing that she does have going for her is rather simple: A community. She may not have too much when it comes to a blood family around her, but she’s surrounded by a beautiful extended family of people who are worried about her. Sure, they do realize that the health of the mothers / babies they care for and their responsibilities are of paramount importance, but at the same time they recognize that they need to take care of their own. Trixie’s one of the longest-tenured characters on the series and with that, there is a great deal of love virtually all around her.
