When is Legends of Tomorrow returning with more season 3 episodes?

When is Legends of Tomorrow returning with more episodes for season 3? We certainly get that question, given that it may feel somewhat strange that the Caity Lotz – Brandon Routh series is now suddenly off the schedule. Despite probably having the best overall season (at least in terms of pure entertainment) out of any of the DC Comics – CW superhero shows, it was the one given a temporary hiatus following the winter finale. For some reason, it’s almost always the one thrown around like some sort of hot potato.

Alas, there is no new Legends of Tomorrow on tonight, and the same goes for the week after. Because of the premiere of Black Lightning, The CW has switched things around to ensure that this show gets (understandably) plenty of promotion behind the network’s top-rated show in The Flash. If you do want to see more of the show, be sure to check out The CW on Monday, February 12. This is when the first Legends of Tomorrow episode of the new year will air in the place of Supergirl. That series is going off on an extended hiatus, and Legends of Tomorrow will be taking its place until its third season is wrapped up.

For those who are curious, don’t perceive that this move is in some way a reference to a notion that Legends of Tomorrow or Supergirl are in any degree of danger. The reason for this scheduling seems to be twofold:

1. There’s a desire for The CW to not have five superhero shows on the air at the same time. We get that, since they want to have a little bit of diversity when it comes to some of their programming.

2. They also are retooling some things behind the scenes with Supergirl, ones that are apparently unrelated to the firing of executive producer Andrew Kreisberg.

Legends of Tomorrow season 3 will be bringing you all sorts of great stuff to look forward to. For starters, you’ve got the arrival of Matt Ryan of John Constantine; beyond that, there is still the super-mysterious big bad in Mallus. We’re still waiting to get a little more information regarding him.
