Victoria season 2 episode 3 preview: The journey to France
For starters, the Jenna Coleman show is going to move away from its current format of airing two hours down to just a single hour. Basically, we’re getting a chance to see the show morph into a typical television format — or, how it actually airs over in the United Kingdom. PBS chose to air the first two episodes of the season in two-hour blocks, which absolutely was a shakeup somewhat of the established form.
If you look below, the Victoria season 2 episode 3 synopsis gives you a little bit more of a sense as to what is coming up next:
Victoria decides to try her hand at foreign relations, and takes the royal court on an adventure to France, stepping toe to toe with the cunning King of the French, Louis Philippe.
Basically, this is an extremely important episode of Victoria coming up just because it represents a pretty-significant change for the title character. She’s spent much of her time as of late mourning so many people she cared about. Now, she is getting set to head on an overseas trip and you can make a good argument as to whether or not this is the right time for it. After all, there is easily a case to be made that she would have been better off trying to heal and move forward at home, but this is her showing that she is ready to make a concentrated effort to better herself at what she perceives to be some of her weaknesses.
Being in France could be useful for her in many ways in terms of better understand the world; yet, there could be some unexpected problems that arise, appropriately, from unexpected places.
