The Fosters season 5 episode 12 preview: Saving Anchor Beach

Fosters season 5 episode 12

The Fosters season 5 episode 12 looks to pick up where this week’s installment left off, and that includes the sense of desperation that is out there in order to protect Anchor Beach and keep it from going private.

At the end of Tuesday night’s new episode of the series we saw Lena make a move that we never thought that she would ever make: She chose to pay a visit to Nick, someone she never wanted any of her children to be around again. The focal point of the story with Nick is that he may have some information when it comes to how to save the school — nobody may want to rely on him, but what if this is just means to an end? If this does end up serving as an asset to the team, is it really wrong to want to pursue thing angle?

Below, The Fosters season 5 episode 12 synopsis offers up some further information regarding what is coming up next:

Callie and her friends support Ximena in a big way at a conservative anti-immigration rally and get a lot of buzz for Ximena’s plight. Meanwhile, an unlikely source offers a key piece of evidence that may help save Anchor Beach from going private and the family celebrates Stef’s birthday.

Obviously, the other main storyline going right now is the quest to ensure that Ximena gets to stay in the country rather than face deportation. The DACA story isn’t going anywhere just like it remains every bit as popular in the press right now. We envision there being a whole lot more discussion on this subject in the weeks to come and we’re very much hopeful that she will find a way to stay in the country. The Fosters is a show about hope; while the producers may want to be realistic here and there, we don’t necessarily think that they are out to break anyone’s hearts. That is what this story could do if it is pursued in the wrong way.
