Shameless season 8 episode 10 video: Is Carl getting married?

Is Carl getting married on Shameless season 8 episode 10? While we’ve seen the Showtime dramedy do some crazy things over the years, this would absolutely qualify as one of the craziest in the event that it actually comes to fruition.

Basically, at the center of Carl’s story tonight is pressure. He feels it from Kassidi to get hitched to her before he heads back to military school. We certainly do think that there is a chance that this actually happens, mostly because of the fact that he — and the rest of the Gallagher family in general — is prone to making some rather hasty decisions. Marrying someone like this really just seems par for the course with this family. They make the move and then deal with whatever the consequences of said move are after the fact.

The one thing to have hope here for as an alternative scenario is Carl getting some advice from some of the rest of his family on this subject. Both Lip and Fiona especially have history in some reckless relationships that moved far too fast. If anyone can offer up some reasonable advice on the subject of how to deal with much of this, it’s going to be the two of them.

As for what else is coming up within this episode, Fiona has one of the biggest incidents in her history as a landlord when a roofer gets involved in an accident on her property. As a result of that, she gets served in a lawsuit and there’s a very-real chance that everything that she’s build up could come crashing down all around her. It’s a great story for Emmy Rossum to play, mostly because this is a deeper sort of frustration than some of the petty stuff that Fiona often deals with.

Finally, be set to see Ian struggle with having a sudden amount of internet fame. We’ve certainly seen as of late in the press how there can be blowback for people who don’t know how to use this properly.
