The Blacklist season 5 episode 11 spoilers: Who’s robbing Reddington?

The Blacklist season 5 episode 11 is airing on Wednesday night, and it’s far from the sort of episode that you see often on NBC. It has a wide array of interesting twists and turns at the core of it, and then also a guest-starring role like no other.

In this episode, Nathan Lane is going to be appearing in the part of Abraham Stern, a treasure-hunter extraordinaire who is used to getting what he wants. Not only that, but he is also pretty intent on doing whatever he needs to do in order to ensure that he gets it. That does mean sometimes orchestrating a car accident to ensure that he gets a rare penny.

In the sneak preview below, Stern manages to do just that and take one of Reddington’s prized possessions away from him like it’s no problem at all. We would argue that it’s a pretty risky endeavor to rob Raymond Reddington — he really doesn’t seem like the sort of person that you’d want to mess with — but Stern doesn’t seem to care and, to go along with it, really acts like it’s not all that much of a big deal.

We imagine that, in the aftermath of this thievery, we’re going to see Reddington do everything that he can to ensure that he gets the revenge that he wants — also, he probably wants to get that penny back. Maybe there will be some drama in this episode, but with Stern’s arrival it does appear as though we’ll also get some comedy.

For a bonus clip, be sure to check out the video below featuring James Spader on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. In this interview Spader discussed how he managed to quit smoking for a second time, the 100th episode of the show, and some other odds and ends. It’s an interesting interview for Spader fans that gives you a little more insight into where his head was at.

We also love hearing Spader discuss what it was like getting Lane on the show — apparently, he pushed producers to cast him without even knowing what the role was going to be.
