Chicago Fire season 6 episode 11 spoilers: Struggles for Casey, Severide continue

“Law of the Jungle” is the title for Chicago Fire season 6 episode 11, an installment airing in early February. This is an important installment, largely because this looks to be the last one  before the Winter Olympics. On the other side of “Law of the Jungle” airing, you are going to be forced to wait until the start of March to get more of the story.

So what’s going to happen on Chicago Fire season 6 episode 11? Think in terms of all sorts of conflict, old and new. The battles between Severide and Casey have been there since the start of the series, and they’re going to continue to be there.

THE FRIENDSHIP BETWEEN CASEY AND SEVERIDE CONTINUES TO BE TESTED – GARY COLE GUEST STARS – After responding to a time-sensitive rescue, Casey (Jesse Spencer) and Severide (Taylor Kinney) don’t see eye to eye on the best course of action. Herrmann (David Eigenberg) struggles to entertain his daughter on “bring your child to work day.” Brett (Kara Killmer) is joined by a surprise guest during a spa getaway, courtesy of Dawson (Monica Raymund), while Kidd’s (Miranda Rae Mayo) social life gets a boost.

So what is the source of the conflict sparking up now between Casey and Severide? Most evidence points to it coming from what we already saw during Dawson and Kelly’s rescue mission a little bit earlier this season. We know that Severide did everything that he could to help her with her rescue of the young girl, and while the two worked together really well, Casey may not love just how close Dawson remains to her after the fact. He’s concerned about her, and nervous regarding how she could be hurt again.

One other thing that we can tell you is that this episode is not the first appearance from Gary Cole you’re going to see on the show. He will be featured on the show in the week prior to this installment coming on the air.
