Chicago Fire season 6 episode 8 preview: Is Dawson going too far?

Chicago PD season 4 episode 2

What’s coming up on Chicago Fire season 6 episode 8? This episode is airing in just one week’s time and at the center of it are going to be many more questions when it comes to the character of Gabby Dawson.

On tonight’s episode (read our full review here), you saw Dawson go out of her way in order to help a young girl. Next week, she’s probably going to be going even further out of her way. One of the things that we do love about Dawson the most is the size of her heart and just how far she is willing to go for the sake of others. She wants to help this girl and may end up causing some problems for herself in the process — or putting a strain on her relationship with Casey. Executive producer Derek Haas teased to us recently that this is something we could be seeing coming up as a result of this storyline.

If you do want to get some more insight as to what is coming up, check out the full Chicago Fire season 6 episode 8 synopsis:

DAWSON DEALS WITH THE AFTERMATH OF THE CLINIC FIRE – After saving a young girl, Dawson (Monica Raymund) is forced to make a tough decision when she finds out the girl’s father is addicted to painkillers. Herrmann (David Eigenberg) loses his cool and gets into an altercation with a police officer after responding to a call. Otis (Yuri Sardarov) and Cruz (Joe Minoso) are on a mission to find out who Brett (Kara Killmer) is dating. Meanwhile, Boden (Eamonn Walker) is skeptical when Donna’s (guest star Melissa Ponzio) brother Julian (guest star Michael Cognata) unexpectedly comes to town. Jesse Spencer, Taylor Kinney, Miranda Rae Mayo and Christian Stolte also star. Jon Seda, Randy Flagler and Anthony Ferraris guest star.

Chicago Fire season 6 episode 8 seems to be once more the perfect intersection of fun and dramatic. You’re going to have a chance to see Otis and Cruz play detective (which is sure to be fun/terrible), and we’re also looking forward to getting to see a Boden story. He hasn’t had enough to do on his own since the start of the season.
