Looking ahead to Lucifer season 3 episode 12: Making a deal with the devil
As a result of this, we come bearing news that, while sad, is very much true: Lucifer is not new tonight. To make matters worse, you are going to be waiting until Monday, January 22 in order to see your favorite devil (played by Tom Ellis) back on Fox again.
For those wanting some additional information on that delay (which we understand, given that it is a rather-massive one), much of that seems to have to do with the fact that come January 15, The Gifted is going to monopolize Fox’s entire Monday-night lineup with a two-hour finale. It’s going to conclude its season and with that, allow Lucifer a chance to then air out the remainder of its own season accompanied by a different show in The Resident.
Now, let’s take a moment to discuss what is going to be coming when a new Lucifer is coming on the air.
Making a deal with the devil
For longer than most of us can possibly imagine, there is nothing that Cain has wanted more than the ability to be free of what plagues him on Earth. He has suffered, and as a result of that he wants to free himself of the main. That, unfortunately, is so much easier said than done.
Yet, could Lucifer be the sort of person to actually help him? He may look as though he is an odd choice on paper, but that sentiment may change when the man otherwise known as Marcus Pierce starts to think about. He’s never had help with this particular ailment from someone quite like Lucifer Morningstar. He’s smart, capable, and we absolutely do think that he could be very much useful to him. We’ll see if that proves to be the case — we have this sinking feeling that over the course of the season the two are going to encounter some rather-unfortunate snags in whatever partnership they form.
