The Big Bang Theory season 11 episode 13 preview: Penny and Sheldon’s science experiment

The Big Bang Theory season 11 episode 2

What’s coming up on The Big Bang Theory season 11 episode 13? This episode is airing in one week’s time, and it’ll bring a very different energy than the entire wedding party debate that existed on Thursday night.

This is an episode that is going to return the show to its science roots (at least for the most part), and pair up some interesting duos who don’t always get a lot of time in order to work together. For those of you who are fans of Penny and Sheldon getting screen time together, you’re probably going to love this. There’s always something fun about the two of them sharing the screen given the sole fact that they are so diametrically opposed to one another and really don’t have all that much in common.

If you do want some additional news regarding what is coming up, CarterMatt has for you the full Big Bang Theory season 11 episode 13 synopsis below:

“The Solo Oscillation” – When Sheldon kicks Amy out to work solo, she and Leonard bond during a series of science experiments. Also, Bert the geologist replaces Wolowitz in the band Footprints on the Moon, and Sheldon finds Penny a surprising source of scientific inspiration, on THE BIG BANG THEORY, Thursday, Jan. 11 (8:00-8:31 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. Laurie Metcalf returns as Sheldon’s mother, Mary.

Much of the fun of the episode will be based on seeing the Sheldon/Penny and Leonard/Amy duos work together, but you also cannot discount another appearance from Laurie Metcalf, either. The producers seem to be taking advantage of Young Sheldon greatly in how it is enabling them to find ways to bring some of these characters over onto the flagship show. Even Sheldon’s brother was brought up on Thursday night’s new episode during the Best Man debate, even though we’ve never gotten a chance to actually see him as a grown adult.

Also, isn’t it nice to have Bert back on the show here and there? While he’s somewhat a cross of Barry and Stuart, he does remain one of our favorites.
