NCIS season 15 episode 11 review: Should Bishop and Torres be together?
Well, here is the problem — being undercover is so much harder than it looks at first. You have to keep people on your side and make people believe your cover. Bishop and Torres trained for weeks, and even with that they still weren’t prepared for some of the surprises that they uncovered over the course of the case. Torres misread who was in charge of the whole operation and as a result of that, he found himself at one point driving in a car with a gun pointed firmly at his head. While there, he was given an opportunity to turn — the head of the operation was pretty aware that Torres was very good at his job, and as a result of that, he wanted to use him as a double agent.
Well, that didn’t work. Torres managed to wreck the car enough that he could take the leader down. When he did that, he discovered that Gibbs and the rest of the team were waiting on him at the safehouse.
Before we even got to this confrontation in the car there were some great moments. Bishop and Torres proved to be a dynamic team, and they had some fun undercover while showing confidence in their abilities. At one point, they were willing to defy Vance to ensure that they got the information that they needed.
Does Torres have feelings for Bishop?
There were questions about that at one point, given some of the dialogue that we saw at the end of the episode — also, the conversation that Torres had in the car with the Big Bad, one where he told them that he was an Academy Award winner if the kiss he planted on Bishop was a fake. He and Bishop were certainly playful about that kiss after the fact!
We don’t think that NCIS is necessarily setting up anything for the two of them in the immediate future, just because it’s not the sort of show that really focuses on romance most of the time. Yet, their dynamic tonight did leave us ‘shipping them maybe a little more than we were previously.
CarterMatt Verdict
NCIS season 15 episode 11 was fun. Most of the team had a role to play, and as a longtime Valderrama fan it was nice to see him get a ton of airtime for a story that allowed us to see so many sides of Torres. We were reminded that he certainly has an edge; yet, at the same time he knows when to use it. He knows what side he’s on.

Knowing how NCIS basically & needlessly stabbed their TIVA shippers in the back (or in the heart), I cannot imagine why anyone would be willing to again ship any couple on THAT show.
Plus, one cannot recreate the magical and rare chemistry that Michael and Cote created.
