NCIS season 15 episode 12 is carrying with it the title of “Dark Secrets.” So what is going to happen over the course of the episode itself? It’s possible that there are going to be a number of interesting things that unfold here as Mark Harmon’s Gibbs does everything in his power in order to figure out what happened with the death of a Navy Lieutenant. It’s going to involve interviewing a number of people from their past, and the good news here for longtime fans is that it means an opportunity is coming to see the return of Bud Roberts! For the second time in the past couple of years Patrick Labyorteaux is going to be guest starring. Who doesn’t like to get a little nod to JAG thrown into episodes every now and then? Given that without JAG there is no NCIS we more than welcome any opportunity to get some updates as to what’s going on with some of these characters.

Now that we’ve gotten through that, CarterMatt has for the full NCIS season 15 episode 12 synopsis for you below.

ife, Gibbs and the team conduct a thorough investigation, interviewing family and friends from her past and present, on NCIS, Tuesday, Jan. 9 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. Patrick Labyorteaux guest stars as JAG Navy Captain Bud Roberts, Jr, who worked with the deceased.

What makes this an interesting story through Gibbs’ lens is that Bud Roberts (like him), has been around the block. These characters are, (whenever they lose someone who’s also been in the Navy for a long time), facing some of their own mortality. They’re seeing other heroes go and they have to come to terms with the idea that what they’re doing will not last forever. It’s a little different than with some of the other characters like McGee and Torres, who weren’t a part of that same generation and have much more of their careers ahead to explore.
