Supernatural season 13 episode 10 spoilers: ‘Wayward Sisters’ synopsis revealed!

Supernatural season 13 poster

Supernatural season 13 episode 10 is unlike any other episode of the show you’ve seen — it’s the backdoor pilot for Wayward Sisters, a series that we (and so many other fans) hope to see get off the ground. This episode, fittingly entitled “Wayward Sisters,” is a chance to really see how this show could function. It shifts the point of view from Sam and Dean over to Jody Mills and her rogue family of sorts, and the Sisters are going to do everything that they can in order to find the Winchesters.

Want to know more? Then be sure to check out the Supernatural season 13 episode 10 synopsis that CarterMatt has for you below:

“When Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) go missing, Jody Mills (Kim Rhodes) calls Claire Novak (guest star Kathryn Newton), the rebellious rogue hunter, and tells her it is time to come home – they need to find the Winchesters. Claire returns and reunites with Alex Jones (guest star Katherine Ramdeen), who has stayed behind with Jody and tries to balance a “normal” life with being a part-time hunter. While Jody is happy to have Claire home again, she’s plagued by Patience’s (guest star Clark Backo) disturbing vision involving her adopted daughter. Claire and Alex search for Kaia Nieves (guest star Yadira Guevara-Prip), the dreamcatcher responsible for opening the rift that Sam and Dean went through, as she holds the key to their whereabouts. Jody calls her friend, Donna Hanscum (guest star Briana Buckmaster), to round out the team and the women head off on the most important hunt of their lives.”

This episode sounds as though it’s going to be a lot of fun, and this is a concept that is set up so much better to succeed than the last attempted spin-off in Supernatural: Bloodlines. These are by and large characters you already know and are invested in, so you’re not so much looking at a situation here with characters you’re not all that familiar with. There’s a lot of great relationships and interactions already present and we know that The CW could benefit from having such an action-packed female-focused series. One of the big questions that we do still have though, is how they will find room for it in the midst of what is a very cramped network schedule at the moment.
