Lethal Weapon season 2 episode 13 spoilers: NASCAR driver Matt DiBenedetto appears

There are a couple of reasons to be excited about Lethal Weapon season 2 episode 13, but one of the biggest ones comes via the cameo department: This episode is bringing you Matt DiBenedetto! First, you had Scottie Pippen on the show earlier this season; now, you’ve got Matt. Are we going to be seeing Jared Goff by the end of the season? At this point, we almost want there to be random sports cameos the rest of the season.

Unfortunately, we don’t have too much of a sense as to why the NASCAR driver is stopping by; yet, we can share for you the full Lethal Weapon season 2 episode 13 synopsis below:

“Murtaugh and Riggs respond to the murder of an escaped patient of Dr. Cahill’s who mysteriously goes off the rails. The investigation brings to light a hidden scheme far bigger than they imagined. Meanwhile, Riggs’ anger gets the better of him once again, causing Avery to consider whether or not he is fit to serve. Also, family tension runs high between Murtaugh and Trish, who have to make big decisions about R.J. in the all-new “Better Living Through Chemistry” episode of LETHAL WEAPON.”

There is a lot to enjoy about this episode in terms of entertainment, but there’s also a great deal to be afraid about when it comes to Riggs. Clayne Crawford’s character is currently working on a high-wire act. He’s great at his job, but there is also a propensity for things to spiral out of control with him. That could cause him to lose his job or even worse. By the end of the episode, we’ll have a better sense of what his immediate future holds. (The same probably goes here for Murtaugh and Trish.)

This Lethal Weapon episode is going to air on Tuesday, January 16, making it the third episode to air in the new year. In the event you did not know, the Fox series is returning to the air on Tuesday, January 2 with new episodes.
