Fuller House season 4: Will there be more John Stamos, Bob Saget?
Still with us? Well, there’s a lot to digest from the end of the Fuller House season 3 finale, starting with the return of fan favorite Vicky (a character who should have really ended up with Danny on the original show) and ending with most of the other original characters all head back to San Francisco. This means, in theory, that you could see more of Bob Saget, John Stamos, or other familiar faces back on the show. Does that mean every episode? Probably not, but as showrunner Jeff Franklin tells TVLine there should be opportunities to see more of them now in an organic fashion:
“It got to be really repetitive for me every time the dads or Becky would show up. We’ve had to bring them in with suitcases and reasons for them being there and it got to be the same thing over and over. I’m looking forward to them just being in town and whenever the storyline works, they can just be part of the gang again without making a big deal out of it. It’s going to feel much more normal to have them back in town. It depends on how many episodes their schedule allows and how much Netflix orders. But hopefully we’ll see more of them, not less.”
As we said previously a Fuller House season 4 almost feels like a given — this is one of the most popular comedy series out there and there’s clearly quite a bit more material that the show has to work with when it comes to all of the main characters and some of the original favorites. Bringing everyone back to San Francisco does help to give the series a full-circle feeling; in the event that season 4 was the last one, it could allow everyone to be there for a big send-off, one that the original Full House never really got a chance to have. (Hopefully season 4 won’t be the end — we’re just speaking hypothetically here.)
