Criminal Minds season 13 episode 11 spoilers: ‘Full-Tilt Boogie’

Criminal Minds season 13 episode 11

We feel like with this Criminal Minds season 13 episode 11 article that it’s important to emphasize the episode title: “Full-Tilt Boogie.” It’s seemingly in opposition of what you are going to see in the story itself — it sure doesn’t feel like there is a whole lot of boogieing going on here!

For a little more evidence on that very subject, CarterMatt has for the full Criminal Minds season 13 episode 11 synopsis below:

“Full-Tilt Boogie” – The BAU team’s investigation into the home invasion and attempted homicide of a police chief’s wife uncovers a world of secrets in a small town in Virginia, on CRIMINAL MINDS, Wednesday, Jan. 10 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

All kidding aside about the title, for those wondering what exactly “Full-Tilt Boogie” even means, it can be a reference to someone aggressively pursuing a specific goal. It also just happens to be the name of a documentary chronicling the production of From Dusk till Dawn. We’re guessing that the title is a nod to the former more so than the latter. This should be an interesting episode in the classic Criminal Minds mold, but it’s also upon reading this that we get a sense as to the real limitations that come with a show like this that is so procedural. There is probably a lot of interesting stuff that you could dive into here if there was time to really explore it with some of these characters over a few episodes. Unfortunately, there isn’t that luxury and as a result of that some of the town’s secrets may have to be rushed through.

One other unfortunate thing here is that Criminal Minds and CBS are remaining coy about virtually everything in this episode other than the case of the week. Why not give us a sense as to what’s coming up with some of the characters? Seeing something like this mostly just bums us out + makes us think that there’s nothing altogether personal that happens.
