Big Brother 28 live feed spoilers: Who won the Veto, week 2?

Today the week 2 Power of Veto Competition took place within the Big Brother 28 house — so what exactly happened within that?

Well, earlier this afternoon we saw the likes of Head of Household Devens, nominees Lyric, Melody, and Jason, and then Barrett and Angela compete for the power. None of the nominees were technically the target for the week, as that honor goes over to Rome instead. The Veto selection played out in a way where almost anyone would use it in the event that they won.

So ended up actually taking the prize home at the end of the day? Think Devens, who does have absolute control this week to execute what he wants — which is almost certain to be taking Rome out of the game. He could still win the Blockbuster, but we’ll have to wait and see what happens there.

Who will be saved with the Veto?

This is what Devens is still deciding, and the Survivor alum is clearly looking to give it to either Lyric or Melody. He has no intention of saving Jason, who is a clear backup target in the event Rome wins Blockbuster. We imagine that both of the aforementioned women are going to do a ton of campaigning over the course of the next few days. We know that in particular, Lyric has woken up in terms of her game today and is trying to do whatever she can to promise Devens the world. Melody has been a gamer for a while, but never in a position to really utilize her skills.

Personally, we think it makes sense to save Melody, given that this ensures that you can split up the showmance — or at least have the option to, no matter what happens with the Blockbuster.
