Taken season 2 premiere spoilers: What’s ahead for Clive Standen, cast?

Taken season 2 premiere

Are you ready for the Taken season 2 premiere to finally air on NBC? While it’s been a long wait, the show’s return on Friday, January 12 is almost here!

The Taken season 2 premiere is especially important because of just how different the series is going to look. There are a number of new cast members this year, including The Flash actress Jessica Camacho. With that, there is also going to be a very different sort of story that begins with Bryan Mills fighting to save himself. For much of the franchise, (including the movies) we’ve seen him fighting to rescue other people. Just how useful will his particular set of skills be as he tries to rescue himself?

For more information on that, CarterMatt has the Taken season 2 premiere synopsis for you. Check that out below:

01/12/2018 (09:00PM – 10:00PM) (Friday) : SEASON 2 PREMIERE – Bryan Mills (Clive Standen) fights for his life inside a secret Mexican prison and plans a series of dangerous deals to put him on track for escape to the United States. But plans change when Mills and a young migrant girl (guest star Adriana Santos) are taken by human traffickers. Meanwhile, Christina Hart (Jennifer Beals) leverages her spycraft skills to obtain powerful new software that could locate Mills, and enlists two unlikely allies to aid in her mission to bring Mills home. Also starring Adam Goldberg (Kilroy) and Jessica Camacho (Santana). Also guest starring Peter Outerbridge (James Casey), Matthew Bennett (Gary Martello), David Julian Hirsh (Clayton Bass), Jose Joaquin Perez (Jose) and Nancy Ticotin (Salome). TV-14 L, V

The Taken season 2 premiere is going to be action-packed, and we hope that eventually we do get to see him back in America — this episode serves in many ways as a reintroduction to the series, and it’s also going to mark a chance to bring in new viewers who may not have been that familiar with the show the first time around. (If you love Clive Standen on Vikings, we think you’re going to love this too).

The biggest challenge with the premiere is simple — the timeslot. Friday night is not an easy time in order to air a show, and we’ve seen that in the ratings struggles for Once Upon a Time and Agents of SHIELD. While we would argue that Blindspot has held on okay, it’s hardly done enough to make us altogether confident in its future.
