Floribama Shore episode 5 sneak peek: Aimee Hall tries to move on
Entering the Floribama Shore house Aimee was in the midst of a difficult on-again, off-again relationship with a guy that she’s had in her life romantically for the better part of the past ten years. This is a guy who’s cheated on her and treated her poorly on a number of different occasions. Yet, she is still struggling to move on past what happened with him into the next phase of her life.
Does Aimee have some help? Luckily, it seems that way courtesy of Candace Rice, who encourages her and speaks up for her. She has seen some of her good qualities (she even lays them out in an especially-amusing confession) and wants Aimee to be able to get out into the world and find herself someone new. Aimee’s just not sure if she wants it just yet.
What this Floribama Shore episode 5 preview really exemplifies is what makes this show a little bit of a different show than Jersey Shore and even some other MTV properties that feature people a little more fame-crazed and jaded — there’s still a relatability here. These cast members were all plucked out of obscurity and brought into this world, and as a result of that they’re completely real and raw. Their struggles are such that young people everywhere can identify with. We’re sure that there are plenty out there who will feel and understand what Aimee is going through, given that it can be hard to walk away from a relationship when it’s something you’ve known for so long. The Shore house is in some ways a nice escape for her, something that she should be looking for if she was in real life. It’s important sometimes to find a place where you can get your mind off of some of the struggles befalling you and start to heal a little bit.
