Lethal Weapon season 2 episode 11 return date for Damon Wayans, Clayne Crawford, cast
Following Tuesday night’s penultimate episode entitled “Wreck the Halls,” you should expect a chance to check out more of Damon Wayans and Clayne Crawford starting on Tuesday, January 2. All things considered, Fox isn’t making you wait too long to see more of the series. It’s a wait of just a few weeks and on the other side of the holiday, the show is back again. That means there will be a chance for more action, more comedy, and more of Riggs and Murtaugh spending countless police resources in order to get the job done.
Lethal Weapon still does have a lot of story to tell in season 2, and the only hope that we have is that the writers continue to give us more of the same. That means more humor, more action, and also some more Riggs / Murtaugh personal stories interspersed here and there. We’d also love more Leo Getz and maybe a few other guest stars who can expand the world and give a great recreation of what the movies were during their heyday.
As for the show’s future beyond just the upcoming batch of episodes in January, it remains to be seen if there’s going to be a season 3. At the moment we’re cautiously optimistic, but the live+same-day ratings leave something to be desired and they are far off from the averages in season 1, when the show was airing before Empire. Fox is going to have a lot of time still to figure that out, and we hope to see the numbers rise somewhat in the new year. With the hustle and bustle of the holiday season over, there may be a larger overall pool of viewers. It’s also the winter, a great time for networks since there’s so much less for people to do and television becomes more of a prominent option in their household.
We’ll have more news on Lethal Weapon and the story to come in the near future. Tomorrow, we’ll have a sense as to what the ratings were for “Wreck the Halls.”
