The Lethal Weapon season 2 fall finale is coming your way on Fox in just one week’s time, and this one is going to be crazy. Isn’t this what you want both from fall finales and holiday episodes? There will be some dramatic moments for sure, but you’ll also see Riggs, Murtaugh, and the rest of the gang ring in the holidays in the only way they know how — let’s just say that a lot of eggnog is going to be involved.
The Lethal Weapon season 2 fall finale is entitled “Wreck the Halls” and there will be some the craziness coming up — CarterMatt has more for you via the attached synopsis below:
It’s Christmas time and the Murtaugh family is headed to Hawaii. However, Murtaugh’s vacation is put on hold when he and Riggs are called to a homicide and the victim is an old friend. Meanwhile, Riggs gets a surprise phone call from a relative just in time for Christmas in the all-new “Wreck The Halls” fall finale episode of LETHAL WEAPON airing Tuesday, December 12th on FOX.
Obviously, there’s a lot of fun to be had here! At the top of the list is seeing what happens when Murtaugh has to try and take part in a homicide case while being grumpier than he’s probably ever been. He’s not going to be happy with the idea of having to be anywhere other than on his vacation … but he could then be devastated when he learns just who the victim really is. This could end up being a bit of a bittersweet holiday season for these characters as they come to grips with the situation that they are in and what they’re going to need to do in order to resolve this case.
In general, family and old friends do seem to be a theme for the hour, as evidenced further by the fact that both Riggs and Murtaugh have personal matters to deal with. The bad news is that by the end of the episode you’re going to be left waiting for a while for resolution — let’s hope that there is not a major cliffhanger coming up for that reason!
