Lethal Weapon season 2 episode 9 preview: Riggs, Murtaugh, and conspiracies

When Lethal Weapon season 2 episode 9 airs on Fox in one week’s time, you’ll get a chance to dive into some conspiracies. Granted, we’ve all witnessed plenty of conspiracies over the past few years thanks to the press and the culture that we live in — therefore, we hope that these are conspiracies of the more amusing, entertaining variety. Remember when thinking about consipracies was fun? Well, those were the days.

This is an episode where you will see, (beyond the case) some development in terms of Riggs’ relationship with Molly; to go along with that, Murtaugh and Trish are going to do everything in their power in order to get Harper into the best school possible. Riggs and Murtaugh are drawn into a fatal world of conspiracy theories. Meanwhile, Riggs’ relationship with Molly (guest star Kristen Gutoskie) evolves and Murtaugh and Trish attempt to get Harper into a fancy pre-school in the all-new “Fools Rush In” episode of LETHAL WEAPON airing Tuesday, Dec. 5 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX. Beyond all of the details that we have here, we do think that this Lethal Weapon episode is important for two very different reasons. For one, this marks the second-to-last episode of the year and you want to see the show do everything that it can to end the year on a high note. Whatever happens here will lead into the big holiday-themed installment airing the following week.

We also think that this is an important time for Lethal Weapon to try to take its ratings to the next level. They’ve sagged for much of the season opposite NCIS, but there are some chances (both tonight and next week) to see how the show fared without it. If it can get more viewers with the long-running CBS series in repeats, we will be starting to feel like Fox will order even more episodes at some point down the road. We’ll have more on that most likely in the spring.
