Cable ratings: Good Behavior season 2, Walking Dead season 8 feel the Thanksgiving blues
For more news when it comes to these ratings drops, you really don’t have to look any further than Good Behavior and The Walking Dead based on some of the latest numbers.
Good Behavior – When it comes to the Michelle Dockery series we regrettably saw it slide back down to its season-low 0.1 rating in the 18-49 demographic and around 540,000 viewers. We hope that this is a ratings trend that can be reversed next week, but even still showrunner Chad Hodge recently noted that what really matters more so than anything else when it comes to this show is its ability to perform in the live+7 figures. If it does generate some great numbers via DVR we feel that ultimately, it’s going to have a reasonable shot of coming back on TNT. What the network wants is so ambiguous that, at the moment, it’s a little bit hard to tabulate beyond this.
The Walking Dead – Meanwhile, the AMC zombie drama continues to show that it’s far more human and vulnerable than it once was. With a 3.4 rating for this past episode it’s still performing well, but This Is Us is starting to be in striking distance and it’s been a long time since a scripted network show has really rivaled some of its numbers. The last major show that we’d identify as a threat to it may just be The Big Bang Theory from a few years back.
Of course, The Walking Dead isn’t going anywhere but it is starting to become clear that we should be assessing the series perhaps a little bit differently than we once did.
